A while ago there was yet another muslim terror attack in France. There’s a crazed muslim immigrant problem over in the UK from what I can tell… Anyway, this wrestler chick who lives in France had a very normal reaction of not wanting a known problem to persist and dared to propose a very common sense measure to counteract terror attacks where she lives: on twitter she basically said please stop letting these god forsaken muslim extremists bring their incompatible values into what should be a civilized, first world country. Smooth-brained reddit assholes, predictably, found a problem with this.
The thing I hate about these brainwashed social media types, is that they are either willfully obtuse (I fucking hope) or they are hopelessly retarded. In any case, there is no reasoning with them, and they will continue to spread their bullshit until miraculously, people in charge take them seriously enough to fag up their platforms, products, curriculum, etcetera. These guys make whatever culture they are a part of worse. In the above image, some asshole suggests that Shanna the wrestler simply dislikes immigrants, for no reason at all even those the original thread post mentioned a terrorist attack that inspired her to tweet against muslim immigration. Said asshole then follows up with a quote attributed to Bull Durham saying “The world is made for people who aren’t cursed with self-awareness,” while he remains blissfully ignorant of the reason why Shanna or anyone else would want to close borders to muslims. This disingenuous jack-off failed to even acknowledge the terrorist attack, and I see this kind of behavior a lot on Twitter and Reddit. It’s like these fools are trying to craft their own separate reality where everyone except them is a hateful, unenlightened bigot, while they ignore actual harmful behaviors. So annoying…
One person in the thread at the top of the above image proves to not be a zombie retard, but they wrote their post very sheepishly, probably to avoid being down-voted or banned. I couldn’t stand having to delicately craft a response to glaring idiocy. We should be able to call an idiot an idiot harshly and swiftly. There is so much bullshit going on all over the world all the time, and it is great to be able to cut through it and get to the truth of the matter. But these social media platforms are not designed for truth; they are design for propoganda, compliance and group-think. It’s very easy to get banned, blocked, suspended, shutdown and unfortunately, the average person just consumes social media junk like a fly does shit. And these people are emotionally unstable, and they are allowed to vote, which means they have influence over the direction of the country, at least if they are in the United States. 2020 has been a shit year, and the mentalities of the typical reddit user are part of why shit doesn’t get better; because they are incapable of stomaching an idea that runs counter to what they’ve been programmed to believe.
